With such a frenzy the day of, it can be easy to lose focus on your big day if you dont take a little time to prepare for the unexpected.
Dont worry! Weve compiled our top 5 things to remember to do on your wedding day that should help cut down any stress that may be creeping in.
Get to Bed Early the Night Before
Its easy to get butterflies the night before your wedding and maybe even a little anxiety, but thats not unusual. Its a very big step in life after all.

Do not go out partying! I repeat, DO NOT GO OUT PARTYING!! You do not want to be hungover on your wedding day, save the rowdiness for the reception.
Start relaxing early, consider a bubble bath and candles for a very calming vibe. Or maybe some yoga, if that is what relaxes you best.
Eat Breakfast

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day for a reason, and they dont lie.
Stick with something light and healthy so youre not feeling uncomfortable once your wedding dress is on.
Fresh fruit is a refreshing way to restore your glucose levels after a nice restful evening. Plus, if you opt to include some melon in the mix, youre already onto the next tip!
Stay Hydrated
Your hydration levels can directly affect your mood, and youll want to be happy on your wedding day.
Along with the previously mentioned melon for breakfast, make sure that youre drinking enough water throughout the day. Not only does it help your mood, being properly hydrated will improve the appearance of your skin, and who doesnt want to be glowing on their big day?
And dont forget that youve got a whole evening of celebration ahead of you, sip some water between alcoholic drinks to help prevent a hangover the following day.
Pack a Wedding Day Emergency Kit

When you pack a wedding day emergency kit, youre just planning for the unexpected. Anything can happen and you want to be ready.
We recommend some items such as a Tide-to-Go pen for any spills, some additional make-up if any touch ups are needed, and a mini-sewing kit just in case.
Its a good idea to have a snack on hand as well. Since your breakfast wasnt too heavy, you may need a little pick me up at some point. Its always good to be prepared!
Most Importantly Have Fun!
Though this should be obvious, it cant go without saying, youve got to enjoy your wedding and things may not go exactly as planned, but youve got to have fun.
Take mental pictures of the highlights and youll find that there are a lot of them. Soon youll have a whole photo album in your mind of the special moments.
This probably is the number one thing we like to ensure when we have a wedding at Cotton Gin No. 116 in Brookshire, TX your big day is all about you and your love, enjoy it!
